Customer Support Associate – Monmouth Cards (NJ - Remote)

Monmouth Cards is a fast-growing sports trading card company with both in-store and online operations. We’re looking for a Customer Support Associate to manage customer communication across multiple channels and ensure a smooth, reliable support experience. This role is best suited for someone who is organized, responsive, and takes full ownership of their work.

Key Details:

  • Type: Part-time (potential for transition to full-time)
  • Location: Remote / Hybrid (NJ, CT, or MA required)
  • Hours: Starting at 25 hours/week, with potential to grow to 40 hours


Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound customer phone calls via RingCentral
  • Respond to customer inquiries across:
    • Email/ticketing system (Zendesk)
    • SMS (Klaviyo)
    • Messaging platforms (Meta and other channels)
  • Maintain and manage ticket queues to prevent backlog
  • Proactively follow up on open or unresolved tickets
  • Coordinate with store locations and warehouse teams to:
    • Check inventory availability
    • Verify order status
    • Resolve customer issues efficiently
  • Communicate clearly and professionally across all channels
  • Escalate complex or sensitive issues when necessary

  • RingCentral (phone support)
  • Zendesk (ticketing system)
  • Walmart Customer Messaging
  • Meta messaging platforms
  • Google Reviews (responses)
  • Klaviyo (SMS communication)

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortably handle phone, email, and messaging support simultaneously
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Able to take ownership and follow through without reminders
  • Comfortable switching between multiple tools and platforms
  • Reliable and consistent with response times
Additional Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with customer support tools or CRM systems
  • Experience in e-commerce or retail
  • Familiarity with sports cards or collectibles
